Baby Grands - Try Before You Buy
Starting with the 2007 racing season, Baby Grands will offer a "Try
Before You Buy" program to help potential buyers decide if a Baby Grand is
right for them. There are two programs available - both of which will
be held at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, KY. The first is
a simple "Hot Laps" session, while the second is an actual race rental
program. Here are the details:
1. Hot Laps. For just $99, you will get two on-track sessions
of ten laps each. Baby Grands provides the car, you bring your drivers
suit, helmet, gloves, etc. These sessions will be scheduled for
Tuesday evenings. In addition to the $99 fee, there is a $2,000 crash
clause to encourage responsible driving.
2. Race Rental. For just $499, you will be able to rent a
Baby Grand for competition in a regularly scheduled race at Beech Bend
Raceway Park. Baby Grands provides the car, setup, etc. and you bring
your own safety equipment. Currently, race rentals are scheduled to be
available during the following dates: April 6, 13 May 11, 25
June 1, 8 July 13, 20 August 3, 17 September 14. In
addition to the $499 fee, there is a $2,000 crash clause to encourage
responsible driving.
Both of these programs are available on a first come, first served basis
and are subject to availability of cars, weather, etc. For more
